Care & Setup
How to Properly Care for Cannabis Clones Upon Arrival
Open the box the moment it arrives, place the clones under gentle light with humidity around 65 to 75 percent, and keep them away from intense grow lights or direct sun for the first 24 to 48 hours. Acclimation in those first two days decides whether a shipped clone thrives or stalls.
Unbox right away and inspect each plant. Healthy clones look turgid and green; one that looks stressed from transit usually recovers within a day under the right conditions. It helps to know what healthy cannabis clones look like before you judge what arrived.
Hydrate and ease into light. If the medium is dry, water lightly. Run gentle light around 200 to 300 PPFD or a dome with diffused light, then raise intensity gradually over 3 to 5 days to avoid shock.
Hold humidity high at first. A dome or tent at 65 to 75 percent lets the roots catch up before the plant has to support full transpiration. Drop the humidity as the clone perks up.
Wait to transplant. Let the clone settle for a day or two and show new growth before moving it to a larger container. A calm first 48 hours is the payoff of the whole cannabis clone shipping process.
Start with rooted, ready-to-grow clones.
