How Long Until a Cannabis Clone Is Ready to Flower?
A rooted cannabis clone is usually ready to flower after 2 to 4 weeks of vegetative growth, once it has built a strong root system and reached about 12 to 18 inches tall. From there, flipping to a 12-hours-on, 12-hours-off light cycle triggers flower.
Veg length is a choice, not a fixed rule. Flip sooner for a small, fast plant or veg longer for a bigger yield - plants roughly double in size after the flip, so size at flip drives final height.
